Iniobong
Umotong is a Professor of Philosophy with special interest in Epistemology,
Metaphysics, African Philosophy and proficiency in Computer science, Management
Sciences and Conflict Resolution, He is a Prince by birth, distinguished and
prolific writer,
Umotong
holds a Doctorate Degree (Ph.D.), Master of Arts Degree (M.A.), Bachelor of
Arts Degree (B.A. Hons) in Philosophy, Postgraduate Diploma in Management (GDM),
Master’s Degree in International Relations (MSc.), and Diploma in Computer
Science.
He has served the academic community at
various levels: Dean Faculty of Arts, Acting Head, Department of Religious and
Cultural Studies, Acting Head, Department of Philosophy, Coordinator General
Studies, Coordinator Postgraduate Studies Department of Philosophy,
Postgraduate coordinator Faculty of Arts.
Member of several committees within and outside the University
community. Umotong is a Great and complete “Malabite”,
a Husband and a biological, spiritual, social and academic father to many
lovely children.
He has well-researched
publications in reputable national and international journals and publishing
firms around the globe. He has authored,
co-authored and edited several textbooks and journals, among his numerous
