Background:<\/b><\/p>\n\nBorn on April 24, 1964, in Enugu, Pastor Umo Eno hails from Ikot Ekpene Udo, Akwa Ibom State.<\/span>\nHis parents were Chief Superintendent of Police Bassey Umo Eno and Deaconess Eka Bassey Umo Eno.<\/span>\n\n

Education:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\nAttended Local Government Authority Primary School, Lagos<\/span>\nSecondary education at St. Francis Secondary School, Ikot Ataku, Eket, and Victory High School, Lagos<\/span>\nHolds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Public Administration and a Master of Science degree in Public Administration from the University of Uyo.<\/span>\nPursuing a Ph.D. in Political Administration at the University of Uyo.<\/span>\n\n

Worked in the private sector, including roles at Bertola Machine Tools Ltd, Union Bank Plc, and Norman Investment Ltd.
<\/span><\/p>\nEstablished Royalty Hotels & Recreations Ltd in 1997, evolving into a prominent figure in hospitality, tourism, and industrial catering.<\/span>\n\n\n

Worked in the private sector, including roles at Bertola Machine Tools Ltd, Union Bank Plc, and Norman Investment Ltd.
<\/span><\/p>\n

Served as Chairman, Hotels and Tourism Management Board during Governor Attah’s administration.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n

Currently the Executive Director, Agricultural Investment, Akwa Ibom State Investment Corporation (AKICORP).

Appointed Commissioner for Lands and Water Resources in January 2021.
