Iniobong\nUmotong is a Professor of Philosophy with special interest in Epistemology,\nMetaphysics, African Philosophy and proficiency in Computer science, Management\nSciences and Conflict Resolution, He is a Prince by birth, distinguished and\nprolific writer, <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

Umotong\nholds a Doctorate Degree (Ph.D.), Master of Arts Degree (M.A.), Bachelor of\nArts Degree (B.A. Hons) in Philosophy, Postgraduate Diploma in Management (GDM),\nMaster\u2019s Degree in International Relations (MSc.), and Diploma in Computer\nScience.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

 He has served the academic community at\nvarious levels: Dean Faculty of Arts, Acting Head, Department of Religious and\nCultural Studies, Acting Head, Department of Philosophy, Coordinator General\nStudies, Coordinator Postgraduate Studies Department of Philosophy,\nPostgraduate coordinator Faculty of Arts. \nMember of several committees within and outside the University\ncommunity. Umotong is a Great and complete \u201cMalabite\u201d<\/i>,\na Husband and a biological, spiritual, social and academic father to many\nlovely children.  <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

He has well-researched\npublications in reputable national and international journals and publishing\nfirms around the globe.  He has authored,\nco-authored and edited several textbooks and journals, among his numerous\npublished works are; Principles of Digital Humanities (2025)<\/i>, Arts\nand other Disciplines (2025),<\/i> The <\/i>Crucible of Philosophy (2023), Theories of Knowledge (2023), Argument\nand Critical Reasoning (2021), Rudiments of Philosophy and Logic (2020), Rudiments\nof History and Philosophy of Science (2018), Philosophy and Logic for Beginners\n(2016 Revised 2024), Aboriginal African Philosophy (2015 Revised 2025),\nUnderstanding Nigerian Peoples and Culture (2015), Elements of History and\nPhilosophy of Science (2013),  Exploration\nfor Knowledge (2007), Medieval Philosophy (2007), Social and Political\nPhilosophy: A Simplified Approach (2004), \n, Ifiok Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies (2014 \u2013 date), Akwa Ibom\nState University Journal of Arts (AKSUJA).<\/o:p><\/b><\/i><\/p>
