The Registrar, Dr. Ebi G. Eno-Ibnaga<\/b> was born in the\nCity of Benin. She attended the Bendel State University, Ekpoma, and has a\nBachelor of Education degree in French. In her quest for further education, Dr.\nEbi registered for postgraduate studies in the Benue State University; where\nshe obtained Masters Degree in Education Management and also obtained Ph.D in\nEducational Administration and Planning from the Nassarawa State University in\n2012.<\/span>
<\/p>\n

She has served in many professional & Administrative capacities in\nthe following Establishments:<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\nFederal University of Agriculture, Makurdi: – Administrative Assistant(AA), Administrative Officer (AO) and Information\/Protocol Officer in Directorateof Academic Affairs (Senate\/Exams & records) and College of Food Scienceand Technology (College Officer).<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\nNassarawa State University: – Assistant Registrar (AR) – Head ofAdministration, Office of the Registrar.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\nUniversity of Uyo: -Senior Assistant Registrar (SAR) \u2013 Head, Publications Unit in the Directorateof General Administration and Principal Assistant Registrar (PAR) with effectfrom October, 2012 \u2013 Head of Administration, Office of the Registrar.<\/span>\nAkwa Ibom State University: – Deputy Registrar (DR) in the Establishment Division and Director in the Directorate of Human Resources\n\n

Dr. Ebi has carried\nout many Administrative Assignments in the University system and has attended\nmany Conferences\/Workshops. She has also published papers mainly in\nAdministrative\/Management highlighting her experiences as an Administrator in\nthe University system<\/span><\/p>\n\nAssociation of University Professional Administrators (ANUPA)<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\nNigerian Institute of Management (NIM)<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\nAmerican Association of University Administrators (AAUA)<\/span>\nChartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (MCIPM)<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\nAssociation of University Administrators United Kingdom (AUA)<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The Akwa Ibom State University Laws makes\nprovision for the Office of the Registrar<\/span><\/b>. By virtue\nof this, the Registrar<\/span><\/b> is the Chief Administrative Officer<\/span><\/b> of the University,\nresponsible for advising the Vice-Chancellor on the day-to-day administrative\naffairs of the University.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

 <\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

The Registrar is the head of the Registry of\nthe Akwa Ibom State University, which is the integral part of the University.\nThe Registry custodies all records, values, traditions; implements policies,\nrules and regulations of the University.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

The Registry is made up of the following\nDirectorates with their Divisions\/Units operating under her supervision. These\nincludes:<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

i.<\/span>                   <\/span>Directorate of Academic Affairs<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

ii.<\/span>                <\/span>Directorate of Council Affairs<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

iii.<\/span>              <\/span>Directorate of General Administration<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

iv.<\/span>              <\/span>Directorate of Human Resources<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

In addition to the above, Legal Services Unit\noperates under the direct supervision of the Registrar. Also the Registrar has\nstaff members serving various arms of the University and reporting on the\nprofessional matters. These includes:<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>
