Essien, Otobong Anthony is a Soil Physicist in the Department of Soil Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Akwa Ibom State University, Ikot Akpaden, Mkpat Enin Local Government Area. She holds a Ph.D from the University of Uyo, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State (2018). She is post graduate Co-ordinator in the department of Soil Science, faculty of Agriculture, Akwa Ibom State University (2021). She is a member of Soil Science Society National (SSSN) and International, member Society of Agriculture, Environmental Resources and Management (SAEREM). She has published in reputable journals. Her current research is on Borders. She has successfully supervised 3 Undergraduate and 4 Under graduate organic research project. A minor supervisor of  on-going M.Sc. project.
