Profile


Dr. Metiabasi David Udo obtained his Ph.D at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture in 2016. He is a registered member of Animal Science Association of Nigeria (ASAN), Nigerian Society of Animal Production (NSAP) and Nigerian Institute of Animal Science (NIAS). Some of the positions he has held in the Department, Faculty and Akwa Ibom State University at large include, Faculty of Agriculture timetable coordinator, chairman, Animal Science conference committee, Faculty of Agriculture SIWES coordinator, secretary, Animal Science Department Postgraduate board, member, AKSU (Obio Akpa Campus) land identification and recovery committee and member, AKSU board of survey. He is also the financial secretary of the Animal Science Association of Nigeria, Akwa Ibom State. His research areas include, Ruminant animal production, Ruminant animal nutrition and Pasture management. He has several publications to his credit in both local and international journals.
