A  PROFILE OF
DR. FLORENCE OTOBONG UMOH 

Dr. Florence Otobong Umoh is a lecturer in the Department of Soil Science, Akwa Ibom State University, Nigeria. She is specialized in the area of Soil Chemistry and Mineralogy, has a research interests in Soil fertility, Soil conservation and management as well and tough courses in these areas. She has over (30) thirty peer-reviewed publications in local and international Journals, Conference Proceedings and Monograph. 

She Attended two University; University of Uyo and Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Nigeria and hold several Academic Qualification; Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D) in Soil Chemistry and Mineralogy, Master of Science (Msc), Diploma in Education (B. Ed), Bachelor of Agriculture (B Agric.) in Soil Science, Senior School Certificate (SSCE) and First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC). 

She served as Head department of Soil Science, a Senate member, Member of AKSU Commercial farm; currently an Editor- in- Chief (Soil Science) AKSU -Journal of Agriculture and Food Sciences. 

She is a member of four (4) Professional bodies and has an Award of Honors for esteemed headship and the best of Head of department in 2019 by the National Association of Agriculture Student (NAAS), AKSU Chapter and also from Soil Science Student Association (SOSSA), Obio Akpa Campus. Hobby; Chess, and reading. 

She is happily married to Mr. Otobong Okon Umoh with Children and the family served God diligently.
