Monday E. Dickson, BSc (Political Science and Public Administration), MSc and PhD (International Relations) obtained from the University of Uyo, Nigeria is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Political Science and Dean of Student's Affairs, Akwa Ibom State University, Nigeria. Dr Dickson was the first candidate to obtain PhD in International Relations from the University of Uyo. He is a member of the Nigerian Political Science Association (NPSA), Nigerian Political Association, South-South (NPSA-SS) and Association for Progressive and Alternative Education (ASPROEDU). He has contributed various articles in reputable local and international journals and chapters in referenced edited books. He currently has an interest in International Political Economy where he is accumulating a growing list of impressive research output. He co-edited Key Issues in International Relations, University of Nigerian Press Ltd (2015) and International Organizations: A Reader, University of Calabar Press (2017).
