KINGSLEY CHARLES UMANI is an innovative Agricultural Engineer with background in mechanical system analysis, agricultural processing machines, research, and development. A versatile CAD/CAE Engineer, interested in pursuing an engaging position in the corporate setting to implement skills. A very accurate, detail and result-oriented, self-disciplined and hardworking individual with excellent oral and writing communication skills. Possess the ability to think critically and creatively, and to synthesize, analyze, and integrate ideas for decision making and problem solving.
 
UMANI is a Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Engineering with specialization in Farm Power and Food Process Machinery Systems. So far in his career, he has served in several academic and administrative positions and committees’ that has foster the development of the Department, Faculty and University. His publications including highly reputable local and international scientific articles, conference proceedings, training programs, and other resources on print & online media have made impactful contributions to research and development in his research area. 
 
UMANI obtained his Bachelor and Masters’ Degrees in Agricultural Engineering and Farm Power & Food Machinery Systems Engineering at University of Uyo, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. He is currently a PhD Research Scholar in the Department of Biological Systems Engineering, Washington State University, Pullman, USA with specialization in Agricultural Automation Engineering – Phenomics Laboratory.
 
He is a member of notable professional associations including Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Nigerian Institution of Agricultural Engineers (MNIAE) and American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE). He is a Registered Engineer with Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
