                       BRIEF PROFILE OF DR. OKOKON B. ATTIH

Dr. Okokon Bassey Attih specializes in Consumer Behaviour. He is an indigene of Akai Atti Udesi in Mbo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. He had his primary education at Primary School, Akai Owu in Mbo Local Government Area and proceeded to the prestigious Methodist Boys’ High School, Oron in Oron Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria for his secondary education. He holds a B.Sc Degree in Marketing (Second Class Upper Division), MBA in Marketing and PhD in Marketing from the University of Uyo. Dr. Okokon B. Attih is a member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN). He has taught marketing and business courses in higher institutions of learning for the past 16 years. Dr. Okokon B. Attih started his teaching career in 2002, at the Community Secondary School, Ajaka, Igalamela/Odulu Local Government Area in Kogi State, where he was posted for National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) primary assignment. In 2005, he was employed into the Department of Business Studies in the defunct College of Agriculture, Obio-Akpa as a lecturer. In 2012, Dr. Okokon B. Attih was absorbed into service of Akwa Ibom State University. He is a lecturer in the Department of Marketing, Faculty of Management Sciences, Akwa Ibom State University, Nigeria. He has published many academic articles in both national and international journals of high reputation with special research interests in consumer buying behaviour, consumer purchase decision, consumer patronage, consumer brand loyalty, etc.
