Profile
Anietie Akpan is a Professor of Marketing. He specializes in Marketing Strategy and Marketing Research. He obtained his Ph.D. (Marketing) from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. His MBA and B.Sc. degrees were obtained from St. Edwards University and Houston Tillotson University both in Texas, USA. He had served as a Manager at the Kentucky Fried Chicken International, USA and General Manger, Hotel Namet, Kaduna, Nigeria. His scholarship spans well above 30 years. He headed Marketing departments in different Universities and a former Dean of the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences, Akwa Ibom Sate University. He is a member of many professional bodies and sits as a reviewer to many local and international Journals Currently, he is the Director at the Centre for Entrepreneurship, Akwa Ibom State University.
