Profile


Daniel, Ekong E. holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree (Ph.D.) in Geography and Regional Planning (Urban Development Studies) of the University of Uyo, Nigeria. He is also a holder of a Master of Geographic Information System Degree (M.GIS), a Master of Science Degree (M.Sc.) in Geography and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geography and Regional Planning of the same University. He is a Senior Lecturer domiciled in the Directorate of General Studies (GSS), Akwa Ibom State University, Nigeria. He services the Departments of Economics and Political Science in the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Department of Public Administration, Faculty of Management Sciences of the University. The courses he lectures include; Introduction to Human Geography, Niger Delta Region,  Introduction to Man/Environment Interactions, Management Information System, Urban & Regional Planning and Urban Administration. He is a member the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners and a registered Town Planner in Nigeria.
