Profile


Unwana M. Ekpe received the PhD degree from the University of Surrey, United Kingdom in 2012. He joined Akwa Ibom State University, Nigeria as a Graduate Assistant in 2006 and has since risen to the rank of Senior Lecturer. Since 2018, he has been the Head, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the university. He is a Registered Engineer and a Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). His research interest includes satellite and terrestrial mobile communication systems, power electronics and renewable energy systems. He has authored many articles in these areas.
