Job Title and Responsibilities 
Lecturer I Department of Physics

Teaching at graduate and Postgraduate level in the area of Electronics/Engineering Physics. This includes: General Physics, Electronics, Electromagnetism, Semiconductor Physics, Electronic communication systems, Network analysis and synthesis, solid state physics and Material Science.

Engage in research, publications of results and supervision of undergraduate/postgraduate research students.

Qualifications and Research Interest

Dr. Nsikak Ekpenyong obtained his BSc in Physics from University of Uyo, Nigeria in 1999, MSc in Artificial Intelligence from University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom  in 2007, and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from University of Manchester, United Kingdom in 2013.

His research interests are Image processing with emphasis on hyperspectral images, computer vision and its role in building modern day robots, machine learning and pattern recognition as applied to imaging and quantum computing.
