Edelduok, Ekaette Godwin is a lecturer in the Department of Zoology, Akwa Ibom State University. She has a B. Sc. in Zoology, an M. Sc. in Parasitology and a Ph. D. in Parasitology. She hails from Onna Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State and is married with children.

Dr. Edelduok lectures several courses in the department including Principles of Parasitology, Biology of Tropical parasites, Vertebrate Zoology, Animal Ecology among others. She supervises final year students undergoing their research work and seminar, and also supervises students on Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES).?Currently, she is the Post-Graduate coordinator and project coordinator for the Department of Zoology. She is a member of the Faculty of Biological Sciences E-library Committee and Faculty Environmental Committee.

Her research interest is in the area of Parasitology and Entomology. Thus, she has undertaken some research in Parasitology including Helminthology, Nematology, Malariology, Epidemiology and Public Health, and Entomology. She has several publications in both national and international journals and is a member of several professional bodies including Parasitology and Public Health Society of Nigeria (PPSN), Zoological Society of Nigeria, Nigerian Society for Microbiology (NSM) and Biopesticides Society of Nigeria (BpSN).
